On 17 April, Portugal’s parliament passed a law banning flags displaying ideologies, parties or associations — including rainbow flags — from public buildings. The law requires these flags to be removed within 30 days. This measure applies to all public institutions and limits the display of foreign flags to official events, in order to reinforce state neutrality.
