In 2025, when the Archdiocese of Morelia was led by Monsignor Carlos Garfias Merlos, 75, the group Otro Rebaño participated in a homosexual march in Morelia.
Then-Archbishop Garfias explained homosexual persons received pastoral care but that they are "sick". During his leadership, the parishes refused to host homosexual services inside churches.
At the time, José Armando Álvarez had already arrived as Coadjutor Archbishop. He had been appointed by Pope Francis in January …Zêde

Archbishop Sample: FSSPX Has "Become Something Else" After Episcopal Consecrations

Conservative Archbishop Alexander K. Sample of Portland, Oregon attacked in an in-house interview on Youtube.com on July 28 the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX). Main quotes.
• "The FSSPX's recent consecration of bishops without a papal mandate takes the situation to a whole new level. They are now the second time bishops have been consecrated."
• "They see themselves as the faithful remnant, as though the rest of the Church is wrong and they alone are right. Folks, please don't be in that position."
• "I don't attribute any ill will to these folks. They're sincere in wanting to preserve tradition and be faithful Catholics. But they have in fact become something else now, especially in light of these recent consecrations."
• "They still mention the Pope in the Eucharistic Prayer, but it's just words. It's not a real communion. They give lip service."

Israel’s Widest Demolition Wave in Months: Israeli forces carried out demolitions across several West Bank communities, affecting homes, businesses, and farms. Near Anza, south of Jenin, owners of three buildings with 18 shops and two apartments were given 40 minutes to evacuate before demolition. Israel says the demolitions target unpermitted construction, while humanitarian groups say Palestinians in Area C are rarely granted building permits. Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yisrael Katz also announced more home demolitions, weapons confiscations, and work permit revocations. Palestinian officials say 341 demolition operations in the first half of 2026 destroyed about 740 structures and affected 923 Palestinians.

🚨ALERT — Israel’s Widest Demolition Wave in Months: Dozens of Palestinian Families Given 40 Minutes to Leave Their Homes Location: West Bank — Jenin, Nablus, Bethlehem, Jerusalem areas Date: July 27, 2026 Source: VPP Over the past 24 hours, Israeli forces have carried out one of the widest demolition and displacement campaigns the West Bank has seen in months — striking homes, shops, farm structures, and even a factory across multiple governorates, leaving dozens of Palestinian families suddenly homeless. Near the village of Anza, south of Jenin, Israeli forces gave the owners of three buildings — containing 18 shops and two residential apartments — just 40 minutes to evacuate before demolition, despite the case still being active in Israeli courts and an earlier legal stay having been granted. In Beit Dajan, east of Nablus, forces stormed the town and handed out ten demolition notices for homes and structures, including a poultry farm, while bulldozers reportedly moved in on olive trees …

Very true. However, Vatican II unfortunately stresses the meal aspect of the Mass. The word sacrifice is never mentioned, and the altar is now termed a table. Also, the priest is called a presider. So, the Mass can become a circus.

Rhode Island Bishop Leads Four Homosexual Eucharists

The Diocese of Providence in Rhode Island is holding a series of “Listening Sessions” for homosexuals and their friends at four parishes. According to the diocesan website, Bishop Bruce Lewandowski, 59, is presiding at each gathering, which includes the celebration of the Eucharist, small-group sharing, and a community dinner.
The diocesan announcement opens with Pope Francis' notorious words, “Todos, Todos, Todos” (“Everyone, Everyone, Everyone”).
LepantoIn.org asked the diocese whether confession would be available and whether participants would be invited to repentance and conversion in accordance with Catholic teaching.
Instead of answering those questions, the diocesan communications director replied only: “As the diocesan bishop, Bishop Lewandowski has the pastoral responsibility to know and understand the spiritual needs of all the souls entrusted to his care.”

Is this one of the signs of new synodal church? Free pass for sin, means there is no sin!

The dragon is in the Anglican church.

Our Anglican "brethren" at Wells Cathedral (which was Catholic until the time of Henry VIII) have decided to stage an exhibition of "Mythical Creatures," based on a 17th-century book held in their library. Particularly striking is a fifteen-meter-long dragon—sporting rainbow colors—that soars above the few elderly congregants, baring its menacing claws at them. It serves as a true parable of what awaits us Catholics if we remain passive in the face of the brazen advance of the hierarchical "Pink Lobby."
(It is astonishing to see the degree of confusion among some of the faithful—such as the person who wrote on a tag: "Dear dragon: always be kind and generous to entire human kind." As if we didn't know what the dragon symbolizes!)

Both Slaves and Slaveowners' - Leo XIV on Family History

Pope Leo XIV talked on July 29 with Tom Llamas (NBC) about his heritage and what it means to be the first pope from the US.
“First of all, just to clarify, I think of myself more as the pope who happens to be American, not to belittle what it means to be American”, Leo XIV said.
Leo XIV loves about America “the sense of freedom, the sense of opportunity, the sense of having invited for generations people from around the world to be part of America.”
Discussing his family's heritage, he said, “I come from a family where my grandparents were immigrants. On my mother’s side, we have people who were both slaves and slave owners.”
Llamas also asked when the pope will visit the United States. “In the next couple of years,” Leo answered.
The interview was Leo XIV's first interview with a US television journalist, and it aired alongside the Concert for Peace, marking the 800th anniversary of St. Francis of Assisi's death, featuring Andrea Bocelli and a 200-child interfaith choir from conflict-…Zêde

Priest apologizes for participating in translating for Novus Ordo - Pax Orbis

Damian Keller at The Traditional Catholic Commentaries has a new video on the late Fr. Stephen Sommerville, a priest who renounced his role in creating the Novus Ordo Missae. From Damian Keller: Fr Stephen Somerville was a young priest at the time who translated the Latin into the English Novus Ordo for the International Commission on English in the Liturgy. The consequences are evident. Click image to watch the video Fr. Somerville’s letter begins: Dear Fellow Catholics in the Roman Rite, I am a priest who for over ten years collaborated in a work that became a notable harm to the Catholic Faith. I wish now to apologize before God and the Church and to renounce decisively my personal sharing in that damaging project. I am speaking of the official work of translating the new post-Vatican II Latin liturgy into the English language, when I was a member of the Advisory Board of the International Commission on English Liturgy (I.C.E.L.). 1 Fr. "Leo XIV Will Not Allow the Mass in the Roman Rite" - Cardinal Roche

"Pope Leo XIV is not going to change Traditionis Custodes, and he is not going back to Summorum Pontificum", Cardinal Arthur Roche, Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship, told TheTablet.co.uk on July 29.
Regarding the Novus Ordo, he claimed that the Church wanted to be "more missionary": "The abundant diet of Scripture that is now given through the celebration of the Mass and the sacraments is something that wasn’t available to use before, but it is now."
He acknowledged the Novus Ordo's emphasis that "the baptised people are a priestly people" and that "they too are celebrating with the priest".

Regarding the Novus Ordo, he claimed that the Church wanted to be "more missionary" - Instead of Protestants returning to the faith, Catholics left. The Novus Ordo has failed miserably.
Two questions they should have asked Cardinal Roche: Mark 8:18

Environmental Propaganda in Paris Church. Worse than Germany: Since July 9, the nave of Saint-Eustache - one of Paris's largest historic churches - has housed Le Souffle, a 7-meter-tall laser-cut aluminum sculpture by contemporary artist Lydie Arickx. Suspended from the church's central vault, the work is presented as evoking deep-sea coral, the Tree of Life, and the human heart while promoting environmental awareness. The installation defaces the church through 29 September.

L'œuvre évoque le corail des profondeurs, l'Arbre de Vie et le cœur humain, tout en sensibilisant à la préservation des écosystèmes marins. (Source : Sortir à Paris)

Czech Bishop: "Synodality Only Possible with Novus Ordo"

Society has a thirst for transcendence, but “the old instruments have already fulfilled their purpose and no longer meet the needs of today's people". This claims Bishop Tomáš Holub, 58, of Plzeň, Czech Republic, in a lengthy article about "Synodality and the Novus Ordo Missae" on 21 July on the blog Come se non, run by the Italian theologian Andrea Grillo. Grillo is an opponent of the Roman rite and is considered an influencer of Traditionis Custodes.
According to Bishop Holub, a missionary outlook must be rooted in synodality: "Synodality is not merely a technique of communication, but a way of living the faith... The point is not to hold a synod, but to become a synod."
The Czech bishop goes on that the Novus Ordo provides the appropriate expression of the Church's synodal identity:
"The Novus Ordo makes it possible for this synodality to be applied in the liturgical sphere. Otherwise, this would be very difficult, since the Vetus Ordo is the expression of a Tridentine vision of the …Zêde

EU Court and Poland's Constitutional Tribunal Clash Over Homosex “Marriages”

Poland's Constitutional Tribunal has ruled that homosex “marriages” performed abroad cannot be entered into the country's civil registry. Doing so would violate Article 18 of the Polish Constitution, which defines marriage as a union between a man and a woman.
The July 28 ruling comes after a series of conflicting legal decisions.
In November 2025, the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) held that Poland must recognize homosex marriages performed in other EU member states where necessary to protect EU free movement rights.
In March, Poland's Supreme Administrative Court applied that judgment, and the government began preparing regulations to implement it.
The Constitutional Tribunal has now reached the opposite conclusion, holding that foreign marriage certificates may only be transcribed if they meet the constitutional definition of marriage.
The court said any change would require an amendment to the Constitution and legislation passed by Parliament - not administrative action. …Zêde

Naked people painted with the rainbow flag in front of Gran Canaria Cathedral: Mazuelos considers it "marketing for the city"

Nearly 500 people posed nude this Sunday in front of the cathedral of Santa Ana in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, painted with the colors of the rainbow flag, in an intervention organized by American photographer Spencer Tunick as part of the Culture & Business Pride festival. The image, conceived specifically to turn the main church of the diocese into the backdrop for an LGTBI movement claim, took place in Plaza de Santa Ana coinciding with the feast day of the city’s patron saint. Far from expressing rejection of the use of the cathedral as the setting for this intervention, the bishop of the Canary Islands, José Mazuelos, stated that he was not against the initiative and even described it as “marketing for the city.” The cathedral turned into the stage for an LGTBI claim The intervention consisted of forming a giant human rainbow flag with several hundred volunteers completely nude and painted in different colors. Spencer Tunick directed the composition from the rooftop of the Casas …
