The Spanish surgeon behind the technique used in the Pope's lung operation says Leo XIV may not need further cancer treatment. Spanish thoracic surgeon Diego González Rivas, whose team developed the minimally invasive technique used to operate on Leo XIV, says the Pontiff is recovering well.
