“God did it”: Austin Applebee, 13, swam for nearly four hours in the open ocean off the coast of Western Australia to get help for his mother and two younger siblings, who had been swept out to sea while kayaking and paddleboarding. Battling strong currents and freezing water, he swam far beyond what most trained adults could endure. He says that he prayed constantly until he reached the shore: "I don't think it was actually me swimming... It was God the whole time. I kept praying, I kept praying. I told God I would get baptised."

This boy is a hero. 13-year-old Australian boy shared the moment he swam 4 hours in the freezing ocean to rescue his family after his mother and younger siblings nearly drowned when they drifted miles out to sea while kayaking and paddleboarding. During the interview, he claimed God gave him the strength to defy the odds, sharing how he constantly prayed until he reached shore. "I don't think it was actually me [swimming]... It was God the whole time. I kept on praying, kept on praying. I said to God, 'I'll get baptized.'"

The choice

"May every human entity realize from now on, once and for all, that it is and exists in this world to live, for eternity, in the Holiness of God Himself. In the Holiness desired for all of us, which is that of God, one and triune. The Holiness of Christ and of His Most Holy Mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary, are for each of us, their beloved children. We are called to this Holiness. Destined to live it here below and in Heaven, for eternity. Invited also to know Science and through it the universe and all that is. Invited to practice the crafts, to exercise the creative and useful work of the artisan, to create works that please God and beautify the Earth. We are here for God, to dedicate our lives to Him. To give Him everything, our work, our families, our homelands, so that He may bless them and keep them forever.
Even today, the urgency of this return to God and his divine anthropology is great. Because the time has come. Because the times are fulfilled. Those offered to us to convert …

‘The war is far from over for the 2.3 million inhabitants of Gaza’ says Catholic priest | Aid to the Church in Need

A CATHOLIC priest in Gaza is pleading for the war to stop as the strip continues to sink into a deeper humanitarian and health crisis.
Gaza’s only Roman Catholic parish priest, Father Gabriel Romanelli, told Catholic charity Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) about the “very serious” situation caused by dire living conditions and ongoing violence.
Despite the ceasefire called on 10th October 2025, authorities in the Gaza Strip say more than 500 Palestinians have died since then.
Israel Defence Forces have defended military action saying it has been responding to Hamas violations or attacks.
This morning’s renewed strikes on Gaza (4th February 2026) have killed at least 20, most of them women and children, according to hospital officials.
Among the dead were five children, including a 5-month-old and a 10-day-old baby.
Speaking before today’s attacks, Fr Romanelli said: “The war is not over. Some bombing continues notably behind the Yellow Line. Houses have been destroyed, deaths and …

And to think that those in charge are making huge profits from the war. All done with the suffering and deaths of the poor people. Trump during the election said he could end the wars in Ukraine abs Gaza. He lied. He’s one of them.

Prevost and his cardinals and bishops need to unite and condemn Zionist genocide in Palestine. They should be hammering this point frequently and insisting that it stop NOW. Prevost should meet with Trump and EU to condemn this genocide. He won't because all he cares about is Synodality and welcoming perverts into the Church.

Norbertine Brother Accused of Stealing $2 Million

Former Norbertine brother James Joseph Owens, 68, in New Mexico has been indicted for allegedly stealing more than $2 million from his religious community. He had served as treasurer and oversaw a construction project.
He was arrested on 23 January and charged with eight counts of wire fraud, 23 counts of engaging in monetary transactions involving property derived from unlawful activity, and one count of tax evasion.
Prosecutors allege that Owens stole the funds while managing the finances of the Norbertine Community of Santa María de la Vid Abbey.
Court documents state that he joined the community in 2009 and was appointed treasurer in 2016.
Investigators allege that, between 2022 and early 2023, he diverted abbey funds through wire transfers, brokerage accounts and cryptocurrency transactions. He then used this money for personal investments and to purchase a home near Albuquerque.
He is also accused of filing a fraudulent 2022 tax return by failing to report income from the …ད་རུང་།

Transvestite Reads Psalm at Candlemas Eucharist in Italy: On February 2, during the Candlemas celebration, the Juta pilgrimage in Mercogliano, near Naples, drew transvestites and homosexuals. While such individuals have attended the pilgrimage for years, 2026 marked a shift. For the first time, a transvestite called “Lust Queen” read the Psalm from the ambo. During the homily, the parish priest, Vitaliano Della Sala, mentioned the tragic suicide of a 14-year-old boy who had reportedly been bullied with feminizing insults.

Catholic Ritual Blended with Neapolitan Folklore in Pilgrimage for Queers

The pews of the Church of the Annunziata in Mercogliano, a town just outside of Naples, were filled with guests wearing lacquered nails, towering wigs and heavy eyelashes. The group known as femminielli — meaning a nonbinary gender identity with ancient roots — had gathered there for their annual pilgrimage, La Juta, honoring the biblical Mary and affirming the femminielli identity.
The parish priest celebrating the Mass, the Rev. Vitaliano Della Sala, said in his Monday (Feb. 2) homily that “the Juta is a celebration of the encounter between the human and the divine,” stressing that these occasions are more important now than ever as violence, prejudice and war threaten rights around the world.
The Juta dei Femminielli is an old Catholic event that combines the human with the divine and highlights an identity rooted in cultural expression and Parthenopean, or Neapolitan, mythology. It takes place every year on Feb. 2, when Catholics celebrate Candlemas, the feast commemorating the …

EPSTEIN’S EX-CELLMATE CLAIMS ADMIN LEFT HIM EXPOSED TO VIOLENCE ON PURPOSE
Nicholas Tartaglione, a quadruple murderer and former police officer, filed a pardon/commutation petition last summer in which he claimed that Epstein was deliberately exposed to violence in the hope that he would not survive long enough to stand trial.
Prior to Epstein’s death on Aug. 10, 2019, which officials ruled a suicide, jail bosses decided that America’s most high-profile prisoner should share a cell with an accused mass murderer for reasons that have never been explained.
Tartaglione had a reputation for extreme violence and a self-confessed hatred of child sex offenders. Tartaglione—who Epstein told prison guards had tried to kill him three weeks before he was found dead—claims “it is no coincidence” that he was “deliberately” moved into the same jail as Epstein and “placed in the same cell” as the convicted child sex offender.
In a 21-page petition obtained by the Daily Beast, Tartagloine says …ད་རུང་།
