Leo XIV Wants Synodality - Cardinals more Clarity: Today, at the end of the Extraordinary Consistory, Pope Leo XIV asked the Cardinals to "support the implementation of the Synod with conviction" in their dioceses: "As Cardinal Grech said, synodality is not a set of meetings or a working method; it is a spiritual style." However, SilereNonPossum mentions that, following Cardinal Grech's presentation, several cardinals and prelates requested clarification.
“Someone who lived practicing the vice of sodomy will suffer more pains in Hell than any one else, because this is the worst sin that there is.” (St. Bernardine of Siena 'There, the associates of his wretchedness, far from alleviating the lot of the damned soul, will make it more intolerable for him.' "Church Can Never Accept Homosexual Lifestyle": Following a pro-homosexual Eucharist presided over by Washington Cardinal Robert McElroy at Georgetown University on June 20, New York Father Gerald Murray noted that McElroy was attempting to “let the steamroller keep rolling down the street” in order to promote homosexual sins within the Church. “The propaganda continues,” said Father Murray. Cardinal McElroy holds the view that acceptance of the homosexual lifestyle is “inevitable.” “That will never happen; it can never happen,” Father Murray concluded.
Fr. Murray on Cardinal McElroy's decision to celebrate Mass at a recent LGBT gathering in Washington, DC: "McElroy is trying to roll this steamroller down the road further, saying that it's inevitable that the church is going to accept the homosexual lifestyle. It never will"
Katie Miller @KatieMiller Australia’s fertility rate has plummeted. They’ve hit the lowest rate in history at 1.48 — well below the 2.1 replacement rate. The average age of mothers was 25 in 1971, and now it’s 32. This is a human catastrophe.
In his May 2026 lecture at the Pontifical Urbaniana University, Cardinal Víctor "Tucho" Fernández said: "Sometimes it takes a madman, desperately in love with his land and his people, capable of separating the Gospel from certain cultural husks that have become attached to it but are not an essential part of its message, and of rereading it in the light of what his people are living today." Tucho added: "Ultimately, it is the Gospel, written within an ancient culture, that now acquires another 'flesh' in popular rites, venerated images, aphorisms and customs, reflections, ways of living the faith, and in music." On 25 June, Carlos Daniel Lasa wrote on ElWanderer.com that Tucho's contextual theology displaces Revelation and makes the lived experience of each people the decisive point for theology. Tucho relativises immutable doctrine and reduces theology to historical interpretation. Lasa's central thesis is even more far-reaching: Pope Francis sought to "refound" the Church, appointed …Hafa
The Apostolic faith speaks to the eternal essence of God and the unchanging struggle of humans which is resolved by the timeless sacrifice on Calvary. Tucho claims that what he doesn't like in the Apostolic faith are cultural accretions. He is wrong. Lace, the mitre, and even his red zucchetto are cultural accretions. The seven deadly sins and sins which cry out to Heaven for vengeance are as fundamental to salvation as DNA is to life. This may be painful for Tucho. My heart goes out to him. But salvation comes from taking up your cross and requires sacrifice of your own preferences for the sake of Christ.
Rumors are swirling that Cardinal Fernandez is planning to announce concessions for anyone who wishes to defect from the SSPX to avoid excommunication. The concessions: he will personally give them a smooch.
Football Match Broadcast Inside Church. Worse than Germany: A football match between France and Norway, which France won 4–1, was broadcast inside a church in Ligny-en-Barrois, France. According to the parish, the church was used because of the heat wave, providing spectators with a cooler venue. During the event, the French national anthem, La Marseillaise, a symbol of the French Revolution, was played inside the church.

Audio Player In a legal battle between the Trump administration and the Las Cruces diocese, the religious-liberty arguments of the diocese would be much more persuasive if they were not couched in blatantly political rhetoric. The Trump administration wants to seize land by eminent domain to complete a section of the border wall in the New Mexico desert. The conflict arises because the land is part of the Mount Cristo Rey pilgrimage site, where a giant statue of Christ the King stands atop a mountain near that border. The diocese argues that the border wall would be an “affront to religious liberty.” If the diocese could demonstrate that the wall would inhibit the practice of the Catholic faith, the religious-freedom argument would deserve serious consideration. But instead the diocese contends that the wall itself is “offensive to Catholic values and teachings,” insofar as it is “a physical symbol of the government’s dehumanizing treatment of migrants writ large.” So it seems that …

A monk from the traditional Benedictine monastery of Notre-Dame de Bellaigue in Virlet, central France, has disappeared without a trace. The monk was reported missing on Wednesday morning, prompting a major search operation by the French Gendarmerie. Ground teams and aerial units have searched the area around the remote monastery, but after two days no trace of the missing religious has been found. The search for the missing monk is ongoing. Authorities have not disclosed the circumstances of the disappearance, and investigators have not indicated whether they suspect an accident, a voluntary departure, or criminal involvement. According to LaMontagne.fr, two monks cautiously suggested that the missing brother may not have left the monastery of his own accord. Notre-Dame de Bellaigue is an independent Benedictine monastery that celebrates the Mass in the Roman Rite. It maintained close ties with the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) until 2019. Since then, the monastery has …Hafa
The consistory that began today "feels like it was organized by a Human Resources department," one curial cardinal told the Substack.com-Account 'The Pillar' on June 26. The report relies entirely on anonymous sources. "It's all too tightly controlled. It doesn't feel like there's freedom to discuss the issues we need to discuss. Instead, we're being led by very specific questions on very specific issues in very small groups, without space for open discussion," the cardinal said. A second cardinal expressed uncertainty about the consistory's agenda: "These are surely very important societal issues and challenges, but I am not sure what we are supposed to add to the discussion beyond talking about personal experiences." He added: "I don't know what the Holy Father expects of this consistory, if I'm being honest." "There's too much control over the topics, and too much dispersion. Consistories usually focused on a single topic. How are you supposed to have a substantive discussion in a …Hafa

"FSSPX Are Schismatic Priests": Cardinal Gerhard Müller told EWTN that Catholics “cannot go” to Masses offered by the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (SSPX): “They shouldn't go and cannot go, participate in the masses of the schismatic priests.” He added that Catholics must accept not only dogmas such as the Trinity and the Incarnation, but also that “the Church is the visible presence of the Body of Jesus Christ.” Regarding the FSSPX's planned episcopal consecrations, he said: “Consecrations without the Pope are absolutely impossible against the will of God, and who is working against God will be excommunicated.” The Vatican has so far never used the word "schism" or "schismatic" in context with the FSSPX.
Cardinal Müller's remarks to EWTN (June 26) were strikingly uncompromising: "Catholics cannot go to these schismatic priests."

On June 25, skinny Paulist Father Chris Lawton celebrated an annual homosex Eucharist at the Stonewall National Monument in Christopher Park, New York City. Around 150 people attended, reports NcrOnline.org. The Eucharist was organized by the notorious homosexual parish St. Paul the Apostle in Manhattan. It took place at the start of 'New York Pride weekend'. The location was disfigured with dozens of rainbow flags. Fr Lawton apologized to homosexuals for times when the Church had failed to recognize God's presence in them. He believes that „transgender Catholics” continue to face unique injustice within the Church. He added that there is a movement toward inclusion of homosexuals underway in the Church: "The train has left the station. And we are going somewhere." Since February 6, the Archdiocese of New York has been led by Monsignor Ronald Hicks - another of Leo XIV's bad appointments. #newsBcfrbukhdr
The divine curse (Galatians 1:9) falls upon the apostate gay activists and unrepentant homosexuals—Chris Lawton, Gherardo Gambelli, Prevost, Tucho, James Martin, and other accomplices. Eternal death is decreed for them (Romans 1:32).
Cardinal at Wrong Microphone: A lighthearted moment opened the Extraordinary Consistory as Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re, Dean of the College of Cardinals, walked toward the wrong microphone. Smiling, Pope Leo XIV quipped, "In front of everyone, Your Eminence!" before the 92-year-old Cardinal crossed the hall to the correct microphone and delivered his address.
Cardinal Gerhard Müller spoke at the June 26 consistory about the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX), IlGiornale.it reports. He addressed the FSSPX's allegations that the Vatican has deviated from the Church's magisterium. Cardinal Müller proposed preparing a response to the Fraternity that would affirm that Rome has never abandoned the path of Catholicism, contrary to their claims. He also said that, following Wednesday's episcopal consecrations, many Lefebvrists would seek to enter into full canonical communion with the Church. The Vatican should prepare to welcome them back by proposing a structure modelled on the Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei, which was established by Pope John Paul II in 1988. Cardinal Müller's intervention was received without comment during the session. Picture: Vatican Media, #newsVrgqbzlram
