Separation of Vatican City State and the Holy See The Pope remains constitutionally supreme. Article 1 states that he holds the full legislative, executive and judicial authority, meaning there is no separation of powers at the highest level. Article 2 explains that Vatican City State exists to guarantee the independence of the Holy See but is legally distinct from the Roman Curia and the institutions of the Holy See. The pastor further claimed SSPX sacramental celebrations are invalid, a position disputed by canon lawyers. The remarks have ignited renewed debate over the place of the Traditional Latin Mass within the Catholic Church.

Fliss, like many "regular" priests who have received horrible formation in modern diocesan seminaries, is in grave error regarding the alleged invalidity of "all their sacramental celebrations", regarding the reasons why the Church dispenses the Sacred Mysteries according to the Usus Antiquior, and regarding the true reasons why Francis issued TC attempting to abrogate in practice the "traditional" Mass in Latin. Any priest who has difficulty reconciling himself to the Mass texts that were followed by all Latin Rite priests for at least 1,500 years would seem to have deep psychological if not other issues.

Benedict himself: he said he issued Summorum Pontificum in order to reconcile the Church with her past." That statement has implications. The Catholic Church has no need what so ever of reconciling herself with her past. If she did she would not be Catholic by definition. If the church is in a state of unreconciliation she is estranged. Pope Benedict knew this. For this reason he issued the Summorum pontificum freeing up the Mass. He gave it three years. Having received feedback on its implementation he issued a set of clarifications and gave it another 3 years. Our Lord has provided us with a parable that appears to describe Benedict’s action. The tree that gave no fruit and the husband man who besought his master not to cut it down until he tried to resuscitate it.

Particularly striking is a fifteen-meter-long dragon—sporting rainbow colors—that soars above the few elderly congregants, baring its menacing claws at them. It serves as a true parable of what awaits us Catholics if we remain passive in the face of the brazen advance of the hierarchical "Pink Lobby." (It is astonishing to see the degree of confusion among some of the faithful—such as the person who wrote on a tag: "Dear dragon: always be kind and generous to entire human kind."
