St. Moses the Black ~ The devil does not destroy a man with one blow, but he whispers, 'Tomorrow, tomorrow.' And so the heart is lulled to sleep, and the soul forgets the eternity......
1) The Holy Scriptures teach about Purgatory as a Place of purification to attain the necessary holiness to see God. a) 2 Maccabees 12:39–46; The next day, they went in search of Judas to gather the bodies of those who had fallen and lay them to rest with their relatives in their fathers’ tombs. Then they found, under the tunics of each of the dead, objects consecrated to the idols of Jamnia, which the Law forbids to the Jews. It was then clear to all why those men had perished. Informed Catholics need to stay engaged rather than withdraw. Jeff Clark (@JeffClarkUS) on X
